Mr. Jerry Lee Ham, age 69, of Lansing died Thursday night, November 7, 2013 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Eddie Lyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Tuesday, November 12, 2013one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Ham was born in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday, November 13, 1943 to the late Elmer Lee and Ella Mae Wilcox Ham. He worked as a Carpenter. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Ham. Mr. Ham is survived by his wife, Ruby Eller Ham; a brother, Earl Ham, of Lansing; two sisters, Brenda Blevins and husband, Jay Dee, of Lansing and Linda Davis and husband, Fairley, of Lansing; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family, c/o Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel, PO Box 786, West Jefferson, NC 28694. The family will be meeting at the home of Viola Eller at 485 Parker Eller Road in Lansing.
