Miss. Hailey Keirsten Houck, age 12, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00am at Faith Fellowship Church with Rev. Elliott Osowitt and Rev. Ken Furches officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Faith Fellowship Church. Hailey was born in Ashe County on Friday, January 19, 2001 to Eric Junior Osborne and Jessica Lynn Houck. She was a 7th grade at Ashe County Middle School. She loved to play volleyball. She was on the Ashe County Bulldogs Volleyball Team and the traveling volleyball team. She enjoyed scrapbooking in her spare time. She was a beautiful young lady and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Larry A. "Pap" Houck and Teddy Osborne. Hailey is survived by her mother , Jessica Houck, of West Jefferson; her father, Eric Junior Osborne, of West Jefferson; her grandmothers, Tammy "Mammie" Richardson, of West Jefferson and Betty Lewis, of West Jefferson; great grandmother, Katherine Stiddam, of West Jefferson; great grandfather, John Richardson, of Cairo, Georgia; two brothers, Dustin Houck and Courtlyn Houck, both of West Jefferson.
