Mrs. Jenny Kaye Taylor Howell, age 54, of Jefferson, passed away Thursday evening, December 12, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Roten officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm one hour prior to the memorial service. She was born on Thursday, September 10, 1959 to Charles Ed Taylor and Helen Trivette Kelly. Mrs. Howell was known for her great whit, cooking skills, great drawing skills and loved spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Howell graduated from Ashe Central High School. She worked at Sara Lee working as a sewing machine operator. Mrs. Howell is survived by her husband of 34 years of marriage, Myron Howell; two daughters; Jennifer Church and husband Justin of Wilkesboro, and Jill Howell of Jefferson; father; Charles Ed Taylor of Jefferson; mother; Helen Kelly of Crumpler; three brothers; Mark Taylor of Jefferson, Eddie Taylor of Crumpler, and David Taylor of Crossnore; a grandson Zeb; several nieces also survive.
