Miss Ruby Jones, age 92, of Warrensville passed away Tuesday night, December 31, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Margaret Wannemacher and Rev Greg Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Saturday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Miss. Jones was born in Ashe County on December 12, 1921 to the late Jacob and Laura Mahaffey Jones. She was a member of Clifton United Methodist Church. She was manager of the Thrift Shop at the Riverview Community Center. Mrs. Jones is survived by a four nephews; Claude Roland and wife Jean of Warrensville, Max Roland and wife Linda of Warrensville, Dean Dishman and wife Kathy of Aubrun, GA, and Allen Jones and wife Jill of South Carolina; three nieces; Joan Dryden of Dover, DE, Beverly Koteff and husband Bill of Rhode Island, and Laura Dough and husband Bill of Manteo, NC.
