Mr. Wiley Lee Matkins, age 84, of Fleetwood, passed away Saturday morning, January 4, 2013 at his home. Private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Matkins was born in Alamance County on November 11, 1929 to the late John Lee and Lucy Gertrude Matkins. Mr. Matkins is survived by his wife; Ethel Faye Matkins; four sons; Jesse Matkins of Todd, Clifford Matkins of Warrensville, Robert Matkins of Lansing, and Micheal Matkins of West Jefferson; three daughters; Janet Cox of Fleetwood, Dianna Holman and Barbara Matkins both of the home; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
