Mrs. Patricia Waters Mills, better known as "Pat", age 81, of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday morning, January 8, 2014 at her home. Memorial service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Charles Supin officiating. Mrs. Mills was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on, May 5, 1932 to the late John Robert and Ruth Kiger Waters. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Augustus Mills. Pat was active in her church, the D.A.R., Ashe County Little Theatre, Women's Club, and volunteering with Ashe Literacy League. She attended Mountain Hearts Wellness Center several days a week when her health allowed. Mrs. Mills is survived by two sons; Robert Mills and wife Kathy of Greensboro, and John Mills and wife Kellie of Pittsburgh, PA; one granddaughter; Rachel Mills of Pittsburgh, PA.
