Mr. William Jack Caudill, age 77, of Lansing passed away Saturday morning at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Clark and Rev. Peter Parish officiating. Burial will follow in the May Cemetery in Lansing with military rites. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Caudill was born in Ashe County on Sunday, October 25, 1931 to the late Samuel Jackson and Nora Black Caudill. He is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Waddell and Mildred "Millie" Testerman, both of Grassy Creek; five grandchildren, Rebecca Church, Jake, Justin, Joe & James Testerman; four great-grandchildren, Haley Marie, Haley Beth, Doran and McKenzie; special friend, Carri; five step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
