Mrs. Mildred Hash, age 73, of Jefferson passed away Friday morning, March 21, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2pm at Spencer Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Galgano, Rev. Dominick Mongiove, and Rev. Galvin Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Crystal Rash, Saturday and Sunday night at 5pm at 278 Arthur Lane, Jefferson, NC 28640. Mrs. Has was born in Maryland on February 12, 1941 to the late Clarence Hash and Essie Spencer. She is survived by her former husband, Gwyn Johnson; four sons, Michael Johnson of Lansing, Bobby Moody of West Jefferson, Steve Moody of Pennsylvania, and Ronnie Moody of West Virginia; three daughters; Crystal Rash and husband Allen of Jefferson, Kathy Dowell of Mouth of Wilson, and Sherry Hamm of Lansing; two brothers; Walt Hash of Crumpler and Russ Hash of Mt. Pilot; five grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
