Mr. John Brandon Rinehart, age 17, of West Jefferson, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve LeaShomb and Rev. Dwight Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Rinehart was born in Durham County on March 21, 1990 to John Wayne Rinehart and Sherry E. Goodman. He was a senior at Ashe County High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald M. Goodman; paternal grandfather, James H. Rinehart and paternal grandmother, Denise DePardieu Rinehart. He is survived by his mother, Sherry E. Goodman, of West Jefferson; his father, John Rinehart; a sister, Christen Louise Rinehart, of the home; a half-sister, Lisa Rinehart Roberts, of Raleigh; his maternal grandmother, Christine P. Goodman, of West Jefferson; one nephew also survive.
