Mr. Jack Warden Little, age 73, of Laurel Springs, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Segraves Nursing Care Center.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 2pm at Jefferson United Methodist Church Dr. Rev. Keith Franklin and Rev. Rob Brooks officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service.Mr. Little was born in Ashe County on Friday, August 31, 1934 to the late Clayton Little and Pearl Goodman Little. He taught the 8th grade at Jefferson Elementary School and Ashe Central High School. He also coached basketball for several years. He retired in 1992.He is survived by his wife, Donna Koontz Little, of the home; a son, Craig Little and wife, Susan, of Jefferson; a brother, Jerrell Little of Boone; a grandson, Brad Little, of Jefferson; two great-grandchildren, Natalie Little and Dylan Little; two nephews also survive.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Ashe County Public Library, 148 Library Drive, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
