Mrs. Wilma Mae Tribble Blevins, age 83 of West Jefferson, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church in West Jefferson with Rev. Michael Lea and Rev. Ken Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from l until 2 pm on Tuesday, one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Wilma was born in Washington County, TN on September 13, 1924 to the late William Brownlow and Lola Belle Miller Tribble. She is survived by one son, Jeff and wife Kelly Blevins of Millers Creek; three daughters, Linda Schaffer of West Jefferson, Karen and husband Bill Richardson of Taylorsville, Jennifer and husband Greg Jones of West Jefferson; three brothers, Harry Tribble and wife, Ruth of Millers Creek, Bill Tribble of Maryland, Robert Tribble and wife, Lou of Warrensville; two sisters, Evelyn Lockard of North East, Maryland and Elizabeth Barker of Chesapeake City, Maryland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
