Mrs. Reba Hazel Hart, age 91, of the Margate Health & Rehab Center passed away Thursday evening, March 27, 2008. Funeral services are will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2008 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller-Hart Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Hart was born in Ashe County on Friday, April 4, 1916 to the late Wells Hart and Minnie Graham Hart. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Young; six brothers, Walter Hart, Luther Hart, Lester Hart, Roy Hart, Joseph Hart and Rev. M.D. Hart. Mrs. Hart is survived by three sisters, Hattie Price of White Top, VA, Bessie Haga of Chilhowie, VA and Dorothy Hofmeier of Baltimore, MD; several nieces and nephews also survive.
