My Dear Nancy and Family - I have never met any of you, and yet I feel for your loss as if you are a part of my family. I came to know and love Nancy and David through her friendship on facebook. Dearest Nancy and Family...
May the sorrow you feel in your heart lighten by the love that surrounds you. Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thoughts and prayers.
With love, Bonnie

Dave and I were grew up together in Smith Corners AKA Bliss NY. Were were lucky enough to serve our country together in Vietnam in 1966. One of my greatest memory of the Vietnam area was when Dave and I met up in Siagon. We were both just afew days removed from Bliss NY. We ran into each other waiting in a beer line. Well the rest of the short time was well I will say we drank our share of beer. RIP good friend. May God Bless you and I know GOD will. Tom Adair Swain NY.

I am loved to see such a great video. Worked with Dave at Memtec in Deland. I was 35 and new to Deland. He was 42 or so I think. I felt he was older and much more wise than I was. Just retired may 1 2017. Now he would seem like a boy to me at 42. He was always a gentle person and a joy to work around. Did not get too upset about too much. I am thankful he got out at a good time. It seems as though he had a great life after Deland. I was honored to be around both Dave and Nancy. Please contact me.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I do not know your family personally, I would like to share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope.

My Thursday morning routine is forever altered. No more will the humble, gentle, always smiling man, David, cross the threshold of my office. I miss him greatly as he always was the bright spot of my day with his kind, soft, always positive demeanor. I am blessed to have had the experience of David in my life. To Nancy, Derek, Julie and the rest of the family, may you find solace in the knowing that he loved you all beyond words and measure and that his presence here on earth will be missed by many.
