Carol and family you have lived a better life with Doug as an angel on earth and in heaven. He is watching over each of you with a geuine smile that comes from being pain free and sitting on the right hand of the Father. Doug has traded in his hospital gown and pain for a crown that we all hope to wear one day soon. When I first met Doug I noticed a few things about him that a was taken away by. First of all, becoming part of the family was easy with Doug because you didnt have to work your way in with him, you were family just because. I never felt like i had to be anyone other than myself with him, and he made sure that I knew that he was there for me if I needed him. Doug Calhoun helped more people than most I have ever known. He would take the time for anyone in need. He was A Person that you could model yourself after, and I hope that his Family can rest assured knowing that Douglas Calhoun will be greatly missed. He was not only an asset to his family, but an asset to his community. Words cant really describe the man that Doug was. An Extraordinary Man Indeed. We love you Doug, and we always will.
