Mr. Johnny McCoy, age 57, of West Jefferson passed away Monday morning, June 16, 2014. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 at Poe Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Jones officiating. Mr. McCoy was born in Ashe County on June 21, 1956 to the late Amios Burl McCoy and Maude Gilley. Mr. McCoy is survived by his wife; Margaret Ruth Owens McCoy, two brothers; James McCoy of Jefferson, and Joe McCoy of West Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
