Mr. Charles Richard Wyatt, age 71 of West Jefferson passed away Monday morning, June 30, 2014 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mr. Wyatt was born in Watauga County on April 17, 1943 to the late Lawrence and Gladys Norris Wyatt. He is survived by three sons; Paul L. Wyatt and wife Sharon of Sugar Grove, Gregory Charles Wyatt of Fleetwood, and Timothy Richard Wyatt and wife Batiya of Winston-Salem; one daughter; Jennifer Wyatt Duncan and husband Eric of Welcome, NC; a special caregiver; Debbie McClure of Jefferson; two brothers; Sam Wyatt of Denver, NC and Paul Wyatt and wife Pam of Troutdale; three sisters; Diane Miller and husband Forrest of Deep Gap, Monnie Arnold of King, and Sue Carroll and husband Junior of Deep Gap; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
