Mr. CL Holman, age 74, of Jefferson passed away on Friday morning, July 11, 2014 at Margate Health and Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. JD Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-3pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Holman was born in Ashe County on November 26, 1939 to the late Avery Holman and Iva Lee Howell. He worked as an Auto Mechanic. He is survived by three sons; Ricky Holman of Vilas, Michael Holman of Trade, TN, and Keith Holman of Granite Falls, four daughters; Diane Stansberry of Zionsville, Pam Scott of Lenoir, Sherry Neal of Granite Falls, and Peggy Weaver of Rhodhiss, NC, one brother; Toby Holman of West Jefferson, four sisters; Ester Hopkins of West Jefferson, Phyllis Phillips of Fleetwood, Brenda Lyall of West Jefferson, and Tammy Burgess of Jefferson, thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
