Mr. Stillman Kit Carson journeyed home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Mr. Carson was born April 11, 1941 to Faye and Ethel Carson in Ashe County. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bare Carson; a brother, Jack Carson; five children, Teresa, Mitchell, Patricia, Angie and Lisa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kit loved to live his life as a servant of God. He was a perfect husband, father, brother and a best friend of many and a hero to his brother, Jack. Kit was a construction worker, welder, blacksmith, jack of all trades, an angel here on earth and a perfect guardian angel now. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:00am at Senter Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Bobby Reed officiating. II Corinthians 5:8, We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. How fitting and orderly it all is when one is in line with the truth!
