Miss. Mildred Lee DeBoard, age 87, of Grassy Creek passed away Monday night, September 8, 2014 at Margate Health and Rehab. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00pm at Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery with Rev. Guy Testerman, Rev. Lonnie Jones and Rev. Dan Edwards officiating. Miss. DeBoard was born in Ashe County on Wednesday, July 13, 1927 to the late Robert Lee and Alma Blevins DeBoard. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one brother; Clinton DeBoard of Sparta, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
