I never had the pleasure to meet Mr. Reeves, but my husband, David, knew him and thought a lot of him. To all of the family, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as I know what you are going through right now. I lost my Daddy less than a month ago, and I know it is a very difficult time for all of you right now. Darrell, Mary and boys, please let me know if there's anything we can do for any of you. To all of Reeves' family, he used to work for my sister and her husband Jo and Bill Dollar and that is how we all got to know what a friendly wonderful person he was. We used to call him "Granny"; but can't remember why. He was always willing to help others that needed help. My sister and I used to ride home from West Jefferson to Jefferson after school with Reeves after he got off from work so Dad wouldn't have to drive over to pick us up. He had a way about him that could cheer everybody up. He will be greatly missed.
1st. Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our care on Him for He cares for us.

I (Joy) knew Mr. Owen for many years as his daughter Aleta is married to my brother, Lanney Blevins. Mr. Owen was always pleasant and very kind when I visited with him & Mrs. Owen (Zollie). He always treated my parents, Allen & Ethel Blevins, with great kindness and respect. They, in turn, always spoke highly about both Mr. & Mrs. Owen. Sorry we cannot be there for his last rites and to pay our respects to this gentleman. But please accept our condolences from afar.
