Robert Edward Bickford, Sr., age 77, of Crumpler died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his home. Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy Walton officiating followed by military rites. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1-2 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Bickford was born in Millis, Massachusetts on August 14, 1937 to the late Clarence Malcolm Bickford and Freda Savage Bickford. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly Bickford; two sons, Robert Edward Bickford, Jr. and wife Ann of West Jefferson, and Daniel Bickford and wife Deb of Attleboro, Massachusetts; one brother, Clarence Malcolm Bickford, Jr. of Attleboro, Massachusetts; one sister, Helen Bickford of Attleboro, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Jason Bickford and wife Angela, Ashley Bickford, Elizabeth Bickford, Robert Bickford III, and Samantha Bickford; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Aubree Bickford; and two nieces also survive.
