Such a great guy. Kind & humble. Passionate about Carolina. Loved telling and hearing a good story as my son John and I witnessed several years ago as we bought a prized clock for Mother's Day for my wife. Time with Robert passed so effortlessly. Will be missed!

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

We just picked up the obit for Robert. He was a special person to me, always professional, courteous, and expressed interest in our family. He is missed as a merchant, and gentleman. We haven't been in WJ in years but know the family well. So glad his final years were spent with Ken at WJFB Church. clay & peggy denny 7

Robert was such a special young man when I taught him many years ago at Beaver Creek High School. He was handsome, intelligent, and talented. He was an excellent student and was admired and respected by everyone. Even though I have not seen him for many, many years, I still remember him vividly and fondly. I enjoyed so much the years that I taught the wonderful students of Beaver Creek High School. My deepest sympathies to Wayne and Becky (whom I also taught), the sons, and other family members.
