We went to the church he pastored and rode with him and Judy on motorcycles...He loved life and the people he was with...one of the phrases he would say, Help my time...! We'll miss him here on earth, but we will see him again one day. Love to the family... ox

Words can not express how I have felt ever since I heard that Kermit had moved on to a higher place. I will miss him greatly. He was much more than a preacher, he was a teacher. He daily practiced uncondititional love for all of God's people. I will miss his laughter, his wisdom, and his understanding that "It is what it is". I'm sending prayers for Judy, the family, and all that loved him.

We are so very sorry to learn of Kermit's passing. He was a wonderful minister and friend to my parents, John and Geraldine Gentry. He was so kind to my sisters and I, when our parents passed. He presided at their funerals, remembering many sweet and funny stories to share. Some we knew, some were a surprise to us . . .that was Kermit. We are sad for the Mount Jefferson Presbyterian Family. May all find comfort and peace, as we remember you all in prayer.
