Glenda, Steven, Mona, Myrtle, Margaret, and family,
We know that Sidney is in a much better place but no matter how sick our loved ones are, we are never ready to give them up. I have always enjoyed being a friend to the Allen family. Each of you have been a blessing in my life. Such good times with good friends and neighbors. I will and do miss seeing Sidney in passing jogging or riding his bike. My prayers and thoughts are with you each of you. May God comfort, guide, and lead each of you daily to his glory.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. Elaine and family,
I am so sad to learn of Mr. Allen's passing. He was such a good man and I have so many memories of him (considering how many countless hours I was at your house growing up). He was a Godly man and I know there is rejoicing in heaven to have him home.
I will pray for your family during this difficult time. May God give you strength and comfort.
I still remember the eulogy your dad gave at my grandfather Coen's funeral. It was so beautiful and funny and celebrated his life like no one else could have done. Your dad was a good friend to our family and he will be missed but not forgotten.

Our family prayers are with Sidney, Glenda and of course all of the family. From the three years I have known him I realized Sidney is and was one tough man. From his many stories of his ultra marathons, long distances running, something like 50-100 mile races. To his mowing 20 plus acres of mountainous hills with a walk behind bush hog, all recently done right up till his passing.
Thank you for our invitations to your house and our time with you and wonderful wife Glenda.
I will miss his sly friendly smile. He was a wealth of information for me, always being patient to my many many questions. I will miss his calmness and steady character. Good bye our friend Sidney, for now. We will meet one day again and rejoice.
