Dear Cope family - each and all!
I grieve to read of Sonny's death. He was a wonderfully special man who spent his life serving others. Tender memory of him is a powerful force.
For me, a most meaningful moment of reflection is officiating at his and Pat's wedding at Pine Grove UMC in Avery County, as I recall, 55 years ago this year. Their long and faithful marriage still honors all who were present that day--and each of you who were born of their union.
I hold you in my thoughts, in my prayers, and in my heart--ever--with love.
