Sharon and family, we are so sorry about your loss of Allen. I remember him from a sweet baby sitting on Lee's lap to him growing up to be a fine young man. If we saw him at a birthday party or at Thanksgiving dinner, he was always friendly and respectful. Not all young people take the time to speak to the elderly, but Allen did and with a smile. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers continue for all of you.

I was so saddened to hear of Allen's death. I taught him in 9th grade and then again last semester. He was such a kind, young man, who was wise beyond his years. He carried a calmness with him even during heated topics in class. His smile was beautiful, and his laugh quiet and genuine. I can't imagine the grief your family must be experiencing. May your memories of Allen help you through what must be the most difficult time of your life.
