Bonnie was a wonderful person and a very dear friend. She and I became friends when we worked at the DMV back in the 60's. She was an upbeat person and a pleasure to be around. She was always concerned about everyone else. Bonnie and Dick would visit us at my Mom's in Florida when Mike and I would come down with our son, Eric. They always bought him a lego set, his favorite. The world was a better place with Bonnie in it. She was a real trooper and an inspiration. We will all miss her.

Dearest Dick and family,
Our hearts are broken. We can just picture you and Bonnie in your beautiful home in NC. You were both so in the love with the area that we also bought land up there. We were caught up in your enthusiasm. It was wonderful spending Thanksgivings with you for so many years. You were both such great generous hosts. We will certainly miss Bonnie's beautiful spirit and smile. Our only consolation is that she is no longer suffering.
May she rest in PEACE. We hope that if you ever come to South Florida you will definitely visit with us. You have an open invitation, Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Roberta and Larry

Bonnie was my "adopted" daughter from the day I met her. She was a sister to all my kids. She never missed a birthday for any of them. We will miss her terribly, especially her very long messages when she called and we weren't home. She and Dick were with us all the way through Tony's illness and passing. They were the rocks for all of us. I can only hope that they are riding together in the clouds.
Dick and Robin have lost their best friend and will go on without her, though not willingly, I'm sure. My heart goes out to both of them.
Rest easily, sweet lady.
"Goodnight sweetheart, well it's time to go".

Mrs. Blohm... You were our teacher and our friend. You meant the world to us and I am so glad we never held back in telling you how much Michael and I loved you. You left this Earth knowing without a shadow of a doubt that you were very special to us. You were the ONLY math teacher who ever took the time to sit with me and TEACH me math without making me subordinate. You were patient and allowed me to make mistakes. You were never upset or bothered and your smile lit up a room!!! You admired my relationship with Michael and ALWAYS joked you would be the flower girl. Every email or message you sent me was signed, your flower girl. Here we are 18 years later...married with two kids and you are still an important part of our lives. Your absence from the physical world will leave a large void but you will remain alive in the hearts of all who were blessed to cross paths with you. We love you and I'm so glad you knew that! I will always enjoy the memories of Bonnie and I playing golf together in N.C. after we retired. We were both beginners but she exceeded me in skill ability from the first day we began playing. Bonnie was a thoughtful, kind person who loved others unconditionally. Larry and I will miss her. She was a friend to all and her smile brightened the lives of many. She enjoyed sharing about her family and lDick. I know she kept a positive outlook during her treatments and fought a good battle. She never gave herself the opportunity to do less than her best. That was never her way!

Bonnie has enriched my life in so many ways. When I think of Bonnie I think of her loving Dick so very much, loving Katie, loving all of her family members, being a best friend, teaching with a passion, being creative and innovative, kindness, strength, compassion, love, helping others, her positive attitude, leadership qualities, her will to fight, chocolate, healthy cooking, camping, motorcycle riding, walking in the mountains, making the best jam ever, golf, changing of the leaves, working out, her love of animals, laughing together, chocolate wine, girls weekends, canoeing, and a host of other memories that I will cherish forever. I loved Bonnie so very much and she will always have a special place in my heart.

My sincere condolences to Dick, Katy, Robin and the extended family of
Bonnie. There was no way I could have predicted when I sold Bonnie and Dick that little Springer puppy that I also would have a precious friend for many years. Bonnie kept in touch, and always had a cheerful comment that made her friends feel as if they really mattered to her. It was really a sad day for me yesterday when I received the news that she was gone. However, I am glad that she is not suffering anymore. My prayers will continue for the family as you face life without Bonnie by your side. With all my love, Lillian Foy

Bonnie, my wonderful friend. We shared so many things - blackberry picking, making jam, comparing needlework, kids's night for my children and on we go. You watched my children grow up and loved them all the way. Your endearing ways, positive attitude, engaging smile, love for life, and so many other wonderful qualities you gave to me will always be a part of me. You left way too soon but you left lots of memories that I will recall often. Until later - lots of love. You will remain a part of me with my memories.
To the family - you all are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you comfort today and in the days to follow. Cherish all your wonderful memories and recall them often.
