Miss. Brittany Danielle Richardson, age 22, of Taylorsville passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Gilliam and Pastor Stephen Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00am at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday; three hours prior to the funeral service. Miss Richardson was born in Watauga County on Tuesday, September 20, 1994 to her parents Mark Allen and Melissa Diane Richardson. She was a student at Lee-McRae College where she was studying Wildlife Biology. She enjoyed hiking, drawing, watching movies and spending time with her boyfriend, Nick Benfield. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Melissa Richardson, of Taylorsville; her paternal grandmother, Wilma Richardson, of Jefferson; her maternal grandparents, David & Peggy Richardson, of Creston; her dog Alice; several aunts and uncles also survive.
