Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

I sure will miss Joe. A good, honest, hardworkig man that kept me chuckling with his humor. He was always very accommodating to me and the wildlife crew whenever we came looking for information from the deer that got processed at his place. He and Curtis really helped us out a lot.

Joe was one of the greastest guys I knew.He was always joking and was a good hearted man.One of the things I admired about him is he was honest and up front about things.Any time I ask him about anything he would come out and tell what he thought.Joe was a good human being and I for one will miss him.Rest in peace brother Joe.

Gentry's Family, was sorry to hear of Joe's passing, He sure was a character in itself, we always had a lot of fun together, I remember the day that him and all the other National Guard Men left for Kuwait and they are all truly blessed to come back home, that was a good day. As I set here and reminisce about the time spent with Joe, I have to smile at the jokes he would tell and his sense of humor. As you (family) know Joe and I spent many years in the North Carolina National Guard together, even Desert Storm. He was also my employee for many years. He was a man who always had your back, a man of unmost integrity and a man filled with love for his country, however, the love he had for his family and God was immeasurable. He will be miss by his friends but most by his family. May you, as his family, find peace in knowing the kind of man he was and may God richly bless each of you.

My heart is sad this morning at the passing of our dear brother Joe. I will never forget the fun we had talking back and forth. I would always say to Him good morning Sir and he would say don't call me sir, i am a working man. He said that to me many many times of the years. He will TRULY be missed.
