I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during this time.

Lake Carpenter Famiy
I was deeply saddened to hear of my good friend Lake's passing.He was a great man and will be missed by many.The Carpenter's have always been like family to the Greer's.Some of my most precious memories were during my summer stays in Ashe County as a young man.The bond that was developed by my grandpa(Smith) and Lake's dad(Lide)remains thru the years with both families.
I will be unable to attend the services on Saturday but my thoughts and prayers will be with the family.When I'm up next month(hopefully)I'll visit you,grandpa,grandma and the other family members at Carpenter-Fairview cemetery.God bless the Carpenter family.
