Mr. Hasard was such a positive influence to so many young people in Franklinville. His impact on transforming boys into men along with his strong Christian faith, defined his qualities as a person. I have so many memories with all of you, and coach Hasard. From listening to Christian rock music played so loudly in the weight room it could be heard on the third floor of school, hunting on his land, to playing with arguably the best ping pong player ever, my memories of Coach are endless.
Sending my love and condolences to all of you.

I had the distinct honor of working with Coach Hasard as a member of the teaching staff where he was also an employee. To say he was instrumental in bringing out the best in people is not overstating at all. His impact on students and athletes, employees of the school district, and the people of the community was certainly penetrating! With deepest, deepest sympathy to all! I am so grateful I knew this incredible individual.

Dear Family of Richard Hasard, I am very saddened to learn of Richard's passing; but am also thrilled that he has passed on to Glory with His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I loved him as a brother in Christ and respected him as a teacher, coach, and friend. He roll-modeled hard work and integrity for me, and I treasure many memories of time spent with him during athletic endeavors and just life in general. May God Bless each of you as you sorrow together. Love in Christ, Russ
