I was sorry to hear of Pat's death. I met her in 1968 when I was a junior in high school and worked part time as a long distance operator for Bell South. Pat was a friend and mentor. She helped me, taught me the "ropes" and stood up for us part timers. She and her friend Ruth Ezell gave me a beautiful straw and leather purse when I graduated high school.
She was a special lady. But I am sure you have many such stories. My sincere sympathy,
Debbie Michalic

I have tried for days to list all of the wonderful things about Pat (Maw), but I realized that there is not enough space here to say even a portion of her goodness. I will say that she was the very best Mother, Grand Mother, Wife, and friend that you could ask for. When God created Maw, He filled her with an extra measure of love and compassion. She always saw the best in everyone, and cared about everyone she knew. Every friend that her children brought home was immediately adopted into the family. I was one of the many Maw adopted, and I have always counted it a great honor. Maw will be missed by all who knew her, but I am sure that as we are full of sorrow at her passing, she is rejoicing in the presence of God, and overjoyed to reunite with Paw(Reeves) and Dawn. I look forward to the day when I will see them all again ! Even so come quickly Lord Jesus !
I Love You Maw !
Your adopted son Danny (aka "Weasel")

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

To the Family,
Pat was a lovable person. I have very fond memories of our time together at Bellsouth. She will always be remembered as one of my rocks that I could lend on for comfort. We laughed and cried together on several special occasions but we had good memories. Thank you family for sharing Pat with me and my family.
God Bless You All,
Saundra Jackson and family

Pat was my Best Friend! She always knew what to say when I needed an encouraging word, or laugh at some of the things we did in Chestnut Hills. She was a strong woman. We had a friendship bond for always. I loved her so much and will never forget her!

I grew up knowing Pat and Reeves. Reeves always put a smile on my face with his humor and Pat was someone I always felt close to. They were wonderful couple and loved by all who knew them.

Cameron and Eddie, I'm so sorry to hear about Mama Pat. My heart is breaking for you and for the loss of one of my favorite friend/person that God put on this earth!! I doubt I will be able to make the funeral due to storms that are brewing. I was wondering what was causing that storm to continue to stir and spin. Now I know, it's Mama Pat chasing Dawn so she can give Dawn the spanking she deserves for leaving us way too soon. Both of you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you!

Aunt Pat and Uncle Reeves at our house in Moravian Falls. Uncle Reeves would always ask when the next cook out was going to be. I loved them both dearly.
