To the Ring family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including pain, suffering and death (Revelation 21:3,4). May these promises from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

A fairly recent fond memory was bringing Dad (Fred) to visit Tom a couple of years before Dad died-probably 2005. Tom wanted the two of them to go off to Dante together in the car for the day, but I would have none of that, not trusting Tom to drive nor Dad to know when they needed help. So, I drove them-Tom in the front seat to navigate (Dad was legally blind). I wish I had photos of the facial expressions Tom made as this Florida driver did her best to navigate safely in the mountains and deliver them home safely! He was a very good sport about it, but his eyes told the real story! The world has lost a bright light. Rest in peace Uncle Tom. Give my daddy a hug for me.

To the family of Tom & Wyvona Ring...
I am the daughter of Glenn & Vivian Litton. My Dad was the brother of Stella Litton Ring, Buford's wife.
This is how my siblings & I came to know Tom & Wyvona. We very much enjoyed meeting them each year at the Dante Reunion & having a good visit. Daddy especially enjoyed the day.
In February 2018 we lost our parents within 6 days of each other, so we know what you are going through losing both so close together. This is how they wanted it, & how my parents wanted it.
They were a very good looking couple...gracious, friendly & superbly classy folks. We shall miss them.
Our most sincere sympathy,
the Litton family

Dear Family, This condolence is one my heart aches as I write it. Tom has been my friend for over 80 years from our growing up years in Dante, VA until our visits to the Dante Reunions of recent years. Many years of working and riding together to Moss 2 and then buying the home and property on Gray Hill in St. Paul. Our children became friends while the Rings were in St. Paul. He and Wyvonia were considered dear friends of mine. RIP, Tom. I will surely miss my friend. "Bailey"
