I just learned of Auntie Clara's passing while looking for contact information for my North Carolina cousins. I so loved Auntie Clara and the time spent with her, Gary and Gene, and Cecil whenever I visited North Carolina with mom and dad, John and Pat. I miss her and my other aunties and uncles that passed before her. I am trying to reach cousins -- Carolyn, Brenda, Gary, Joyce, Clyde Allen, Donnie, Kathy -- but don't seem to have current contact information. If any of you read this, please call me at 503-780-8767. My sincere condolences to the family!

I’m very sorry for your loss. May the love of family, friends and Almighty God bring you strength and comfort during your time of grief. (Isaiah 41:10) And may the resurrection promise found at John 5:28, 29 bring hope and peace.

As my children would say, Miss Clara will be missed. My children (Emalee and Ryne) loved to go to her house and ride down the hill on card board boxes! She was the first person to take us to the Cascades. Many memories from Church......... So sad to hear! Love to Gary and family.

Dear Ronda & Bledsoe/Fletcher family,
Word of Clara's death brings genuine sadness. I remember her, and all your family, as genuine church and community leaders. I know Clara was a lady of great faith. I'm certain that's wondrous comfort in all these hours and days of sorrow and loss. I hold each of you in my thoughts and prayers, both now and ever!

So sorry to hear about Clara’s passing. She was such a sweet and beautiful person. She was one of my Dad’s (Bryce Blackburn) favorite neighbors at the Senior Apartments. They spent many a day talking. I’m sure they are rocking away on The porch in heaven. My condolences to the family.

I will really miss Clara. I met her when I began walking with a friend that lives at the senior apartments. I felt close to her in just a few days. She had a way of making you feel you were the most special person in the room. It always brighten my day to get to see her and Betty and Julie. I walk there almost everyday and have been missing her and will continue to miss her greatly. My evening walk just won't be the same.
