Garvin and Janie were part of our family from the time they were married. Visiting most every Sunday evening and sharing many meals together. When Janie passed away, Garvin became closer to my mother, talking most every day. We included him always for special occasion meals right up until he wasn't able to come. Even then my mother would send him a large meal. He looked so forward to that because he loved to eat. Our love to each of you that took time to sit with him and care for him when he needed help. Garvin was a great man,I remember mowing and weed eating his yard.After I finished me and Garvin would sit in his garage and just talk about family and he would always have me a diet soda to drink.He liked to talk about his car,and motorcycle and Garvin would always tell me stories about things in life that he had experienced and he was a great autobody man.Garvin will surely be missed,but I know he is seeing my grandma and his sister Lenoir Elliott and other family members up in heaven.
