Aunt Marie was my mother's twin sister. I spent years trying to figure out how twins could be so different! She taught me as much about sewing as my home education class. She did not laugh easily but she had an interesting sense of humor. I can remember as a child that God brought Wheeling into Marie's life. I always enjoyed seeing the two of them especially after Wheeling's faith was active. He could have been a good zoo keeper. He loved animals. She loved the dogs. I'll never forget the fish he grew in a hole in his yard.
Marie was a grown up in my life I could ask questions to and she never got upset. She was particular that you put things back in place. Sometimes she didn't know what to do with kids but she really wanted to. I loved her for it.
