I only knew Ivan for a relatively short time, but we had time to talk quite a lot. What struck me most about him was the great love he had for his family & friends. He was a helper. If someone needed something, & it was in his power to help, he wanted to do it. He also was a man of faith. He was a Christian & trusted Jesus. He knew that he was heaven bound. He had this confidence & was not afraid to die. He held on as long as possible for his family, wanting to make sure they would all be okay. I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know Ivan. I look forward to seeing him again one day.

Thank you for taking care of Ivan those last few weeks . It meant a lot to me to know he had someone like you with him to get his breakfast and take care of him

We fought , we laughed , even hated each other at times but, we were there for each other when we really needed to be .. Ive watched you do more than your share of suffering the last few years but , it’s a blessing to know you’re in Heaven now .. You said you were ready to go be with mom and I know in my soul you are there now .. So thankful I could share those last few Minutes, hours & days with you .. Go rest now big brother .. Love you !!!
