Mr. Ivan Hugh Latham, age 71, of Creston passed away Friday morning, October 1, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 2pm at Roark Cemetery with Rev. Frankie rash and Rev. Kevin Holmes officiating with military rites. Mr. Latham was born in Ashe County on August 27, 1949 to the late Bill and Pauline Latham. He served in the United States Army. After returning home, he worked in construction. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Latham; a sister, Leona Mullis. Mr. Latham is survived by: two sons, Ricky Latham, of Creston and Tim Latham, of Wilkesboro; a brother , Larry Latham and wife, Sheila, of Creston; two sisters, Donna Osborne and husband, Wayne, of Creston and Sheila Baker and husband, Greg, of Vale; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
