The Love, kindness and support both he an his wife Judy gave to my family..Larry Brooks and my brother Tony during one of the most painful and difficult periods of our lives...stands to today as a shinning example of how people are suppose to support, love and treat each other. I met David & Judy many yrs ago when they had a premature baby & I was the nurse. What a sweet loving family. Many wonderful talks standing in front of the nursery at AMH. I will never forget him. Blessings to you & your family Judy.

Judy and family I feel blessed to have known David. He was one of a kind! Always there in ones time if need. His Piney Grove church family will miss him more than words can say!! Judy, my heart is broken to hear Bro David passed away. He was always special to me because he invested his time in my life. Some of my favorite memories are those Wednesday nights when he and Ralph would come early and help me learn new songs out of the hymn book. I’m still not that great at playing the piano, but every time I sit and play some of those old songs, I think of what an encouragement he was to me. So thankful for the blessed hope we have in Jesus and the promise of the resurrection. I am praying for you, Sherrie, and Jeff. It won’t be long till we’re all together, and oh, what a day that will be!

Dear Judy and family. I am so sad to learn of David’s home going. I hav a lot of wonderful memories of David and your family. One that sticks out in my mind was many years ago when we were young and David was the pastor at Stony Hill. You all came home with us after church to eat with us. I had always called David Pastor Testerman and did that day too. I was trying to show respect to him. He said Linda, what is my first name? I said David. He said do u call ur friends by their first name? I said yes of course. He said well I want to be your friend as well as your pastor. From that day on he was David-a great pastor, a great friend and a Godly Christian man. Love u dear family. I will pray God will send you HIS wonderful comfort The world is a better place because David was here for a short time. I was blessed to call him friend
