Ms. Marilyn Faye Cope age 68 of West Jefferson passed away Thursday morning at Glenbridge Nursing Home. Due to Covid restrictions a private service for family and church family will be held on at 11am on Sunday February 28 at Highland Bible Tabernacle, West Jefferson, NC. Family for friends can come by Boone Family Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27 from 8-5pm to sign the register book. She is survived by one brother; Ron Cope and wife Diana of Florida, two sisters; Retha Taylor of West Jefferson, and Nanette Cope of Morganton, two nieces, two nephews, nine great nieces and nephews. Marilyn had an adopted family; Phillips and Rosa Denza and their children, Jose (deceased), Savannah, Kensee, Abigail, Josiah, and McKala. And her much loved brothers and sisters in her church family.
