I met Ben a few months ago, this man touched my heart, as I can tell he has others. I am blessed to have met him and I trust that I have not lost a new friend for he is waiting for me in heaven but with his family, God blessed me through Ben with a family. Jean and family, I hope I can bless you and help you through this time as a reflection of God and as the harvest God sent because of Ben's giving heart to this community. I am expecting great things for all of your lives.

God saw that you were suffering
And this He could not stand
So he sent his Angels from
above, to take you by the hand
They kneeled down beside you
and softly whispered in your ear
Do not be afraid for the Lord
has sent us here
We've come to take you to a place
where you will be pain free
A place where you will surely find
rest and serenity

Jean we will never forget all the wonderful times we have spent toghter. Sometimes they were sad but mostly they were happy.Remember Atlantic City when we all thought we had hit the jack pot on the plane. What great memories. Jean, you had you a jewel in Ben and never forget how much he loved you. We loved Ben to and remember we love you and all you have to do is let us know what we can do for you. Our 25 years of friendship has meant the world to me and I hope we have 25 more.

BEN YOU WERE MY INSPIRATION WHEN I WAS GROWING UP AND MY BEST FRIEND THROUGH LIFE. I COULD TALK TO YOU ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. I ALWAYS SAID I WANTED TO BE JUST LIKE UNCLE BEN AND DRIVE A BIG TRUCK AND THATS WHAT IM DOING. I USE TO CALL AND ASK YOU QUESTIONS ABOUT THINGS ABOUT WHERE I WAS AT AND HE WOULD KNOW WHERE I WAS AND PROBABLY WHAT I WAS GOING TO BE HAULING BACK. I COULD REMEMBER ME CALLING AND SAYING I WAS WAITING ON A LOAD AND HE ASK WHAT I WAS GOING TO HAULING AND AT THE TIME I DIDN'T KNOW. HE TOLD ME I WOULD HAUL CHERRIES BACK MORE THAN LIKELY AND THAT'S WHAT I HAULED. I HOPE I AM GOING TO BE LIKE YOU AND I LOVE AND MISS YOU. YOU ARE STILL MY INSPIRATION AND THE ONE I WILL STILL TALK TO EVEN IF YOUR NOT HERE IN BODY YOUR HERE IN MY HEART AND I WILL TRY TO MAKE YOU PROUD AND KEEP YOUR LEGACY ALIVE. I KNOW GODS GOT HIS HANDS FULL SINCE YOU GOT UP THERE. SO YOU KEEP HIM LAUGHING LIKE YOU DID US DOWN HERE. I'LL SEE YA LATER ALLIGATOR. THIS IS MULE SIGNING OUT TO BIG BEN 10/4

So very many memories...all good ones. So much laughter, so many kindnesses...and always such a warm welcome that told us "you belong here, You're part of us." Most of all, a gentle acceptance of people and who they were, even when he was disappointed in something someone had done, he never held a grudge-believing things would eventually come out right. There's not enough of that going around. Love,
Mike and Marty
