I spent many a great day with Walter, Ralph and Dad while they cut and logged timber. He would always sneak and let me "run" the equipment while dad was in the woods cutting. When my sister passed away, it was Walt who helped me the most. I loved him dearly.

Walter was such a kind person, and always willing to help anyone who needed him. I remember that he would visit my grandfather, Coy Ham, when he was in the nursing home, and he would sit and listen to Dad Ham tell Little Horse Creek stories for hours. He will be truly missed.
