Charles, Charles, Jr. & All, I'm saddened to read of Barbara's death. I remember her joyous, happy disposition and for her obvious love of life. I also think of her as a vibrant and popular student at Pine Swamp School (where she got a ride to school each morning on the Coble Dairy truck!)and at Fleetwood & BCHS. My condolences go to the family of Barb Edwards. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is very heavy and my eyes full with the loss of Barb, I still cannot believe she is gone. I first met Barb back in 1992 in Baltimore MD working for Northwest Airlines in reservations sales. Since that time I always thought of her as one of my best friends. Despite what was going on in her life/work Barb always looked at the positive side. Barb was kind and sincere to everyone she met, and her love of life is an example for us all to strive to achieve. Her love of travel was contagious. When asked how she was her response was always EXCELLENT! Barb you were a classy lady and a class act. Thank you for all the wonderful trips and cruises we've taken expecially the Africa and China trips, you made them that much special. Thanks for all the memories, all the laughter and for being such a wonderful friend to me. I hope you know that you will be dearly missed and can never be replaced.

Charles and The Charles Jr. Family, I was so touched to hear of the death of Barbara. I will never forget her being my best friend in Elementary School at Fleetwood. Barbara was one of the nicest supervisors at Eastern Air Lines. I was not one of her agents, but she was always available to help if I had any questions. She smiled and was easy to talk with. I'm sorry to see her go and I know she is with our Heavenly Father now.

Barbara was a dear friend and a mentor. We meet at NWA in 1995 and over the years enjoyed many dinners, movies and conversations. I will fondly cherish the memories and always remember her motto of advice, "Be cool." God be with her and her family
