Daddy, I miss you so very much. The love I always carried in my heart for you is something that will never go away. I know how much you suffered. You handled it in stride like you did everything else. You didn't complain the first time. I don't know how you did it. You were always a very strong man. I know you were in intense pain at times and you still didn't complain. I wanted to help you so much. I wanted you completely better. When you ate just a little bit, I was so excited and hopeful. Your little body was wasting away very fast. It broke my heart. I felt I was failing you by not being able to help get you better, but in the end, I know God had his hand and watchful eye over you and had his own plan for you. I could see it in your face that you were ready to go. I know without one doubt that you are now with God and all the angels singing and praising his Holy name. You were ready to meet God and...he was ready to meet you. It leaves our hearts empty and alone to let you go, but at the same time, I know you are so happy there in that beautiful land beside the river of life and I know you're talking to MaMaw and Poppie and all the rest that have had the pleasure of going sooner. Thank you for making such an impact on my life. I hope I can never let you down. Thank you for getting me back in church and one thing is for certain,...I will meet you one day soon and we will never be parted again. Won't that be wonderful...a land of peace and beauty, never ending...I can't wait! You will forever remain in my heart and I will always love you! Thank you for being the greatest Daddy in the whole wide world!

Ray,You were always like a second father to me and I loved you like one. You meant more to you than you ever knew. I am going to miss you but I am glad you are no longer suffering, it was so hard to watch your little body wasting away and nothing we could do to fix it. I know you are with Jesus and rejoicing in his love. You tell Mother hello for me and I hope you find Dad there too, save us a place and before you know it we will be there too. The love you and Virginia had was an inspiration to us all and you set a good example for us to follow. Sad for you to leave us but heaven's gain.
