Dear Smith family, each & all, I think I never met Patricia; but I taught with Mr. Lawton, just two doors down the hall, at Mt. Airy Senior High and often visited with Mrs. Danford & him at their home in the Salem community. They were wonderful friends. Mr. Woodie remains the most thoroughly knowledgable teacher (in multiple academic areas)I've known--classical music, history, literature, philosophy and, of course, physics, chemistry & Earth science. He was amazing!
