What a lovely, gracious lady was our Dora! She will be sorely missed by all of us at Mount Jefferson Presbyterian Church. She was tireless in her efforts to make her community a better place, especially Relay for Life. Our deepest sympathies to you, Ed and all the family. May God bless you with memories of Lora's kindness, love of neighbor, her church and her family.

Lora was a special person to our family and will always be remembered as a caring, loving, and a very good neighbor. We will always keep our little sweater she made for our little dog, Lady, she loved Lady like a best friend and treated her just like a human being. Lora had great skill with her weaving and knitting. We will always cherish the items that she has given us. Ed and family you are in our prayers. Lore Doerr might have been small in stature but her heart was without measure. She generously shared her many talents - often preparing those incredible German meals at church, or to those delighted friends in her home. Her flying knitting needles produced many warm socks, afghans, sweathers and more for those who needed them. We will always remember how we sang old tunes from musicals together, danced to the German music and laughed at shared stories. And we will feel privileged to have known and loved Lore. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ed and with your family. May God hold you close.
