Jimmy and Joyce,
We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and mother-in-law. Ms. Pat Maltba had been keeping me informed on her condition. I didn't want to bother you with phone calls during these last few days you had to spend with her. I hope you have felt our prayers. We have had you on our hearts the entire time. Joyce, you have been a GREAT daughter-in-law. Ms. Asleen was very blessed to have had such a wonderful, loving person taking care of her. I know she will be missed terribly but know there is a day when you will see her again. God loves you and he is taking care of her now. This world is full of heartache, pain, sickness and death. Take comfort in knowing she is in Heaven where all that is gone away. She is in a place that knows no darkness for God is the eternal light. I know that your hearts are broken and if there is ANYTHING David and I can do...please do not hesitate to let us know. I wish I had some words to comfort you and take the pain away but the only one who can truly do that is God. Let him give you peace and comfort that only he can give. We love you and are thinking of you during this very sad time. We have been praying for your family and we will continue to pray. You are very cherished friends to us. We love you!!!!

Dear McNeill Family'
My dad, J.D. Boone, loved you all. He was happy when it was time to "go get the eggs" because he so enjoyed visiting with you. I went with him a few times and could see how warm and friendly everyone was especially Mrs. McNeill. She would always feed him something good. He'd come home with sweet potatoes, grapes, apples, the BEST eggs, and a beautiful puppy that he adored. He loved your lifestyle. Thank you for those happy memories. We are thinking of you during this sad time and hoping that you all will be comforted by remembering how much she was loved and appreciated.
