I haven't had the pleasure of spending time with Jewel in many years, but as a child I spent many hours in her company. As a sister-in-law and neighbor of my grandparents, I spent time with her grandchildren and loved to visit her house and play. She always had a tender smile and soft hug for everyone, child or adult.
She will be missed.
