She blessed both of us with her faith in God and her consistency in reaching out to encourage others. We are thankful for Sandy's life and for the opportunities to know and love her. I remember Sandy as being lovely, warm and generous of spirit. She was a faithful card and letter writer on all occasions to our family. She never missed an opportunity to send notes which were so very much appreciated by us, especially our parents in their later years. She had a lovely and gentle sense of humour and her love for Craig, Drew and Meg, as well as her her in-laws, Uncle George and Auntie Audley, was obvious to everyone. She is a bright spark just burning in another place now. My thoughts and good wishes are with Craig and the rest of the family.

Over the years, Sandy kept Craig’s “Canadian Cousins and Family up to date with her wonderful letters and cards and with her generous spirit she always remembered to send kind thoughts and prayers our way even while struggling with her own illness. She will be truly missed but she will always be remembered.

Dear Craig, Meg and Drew,
Quincy and I were so sad to hear of Sandy's passing and yet glad she no longer had to battle such a horrid illness. I was fortunate to have met this wonderful woman who thought and did so much for others and took such pleasure out of the good things that happened to the people she knew. I never saw her that she did not have a smile on her face and her concern was always for someone else and not herself. The world has lost a beautiful and gracious lady. Our prayers are with you during this time of loss for your family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Sandy was such a special person. No matter how sick she was the cards kept coming! Things I'll always remember about Sandy are, she loved her cheese and when we talked about the kids she would tell me she still had the picture of Meg and Luke on her refrigerator from the last homecoming at Beaver Creek where Luke escorted Meg in his ROTC uniform. Sandy always had a smile on her face and was always concerned about how others were doing. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all at this difficult time and may God cradle you in his loving arms. Cathy and Mike Everhart

Sandy was such a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. My childhood memories are filled with spending time with Sandy and her family at their homes in Galax or at church. From eating ice cream on their porch to watching her knit a pink stocking with toes for Craig. She was always busy and making beautiful things. She will be missed. Thinking of you all during this time. Rebecca Friend, Emily and Sophie

Sandy was able to make a person feel special with her warm and caring personality. She had a quick wit which she needed - living with Craig the master of one liners! Although we did not see each other very often we remained close through her wonderful notes. It was a privilege to have known and loved Sandy as a family member and as a friend.
We will miss a most gracious lady.

Craig, Drew, and Meg,
Sweet, caring, sincere, a true "mama bear", some of the many words that come to mind when thinking about Sandy.
We spent many an hour together at ballgames cheering for our children, and more hours together working on the Copper Kettle Board. Sandy always gave 100%. A genuine lady. And now a special angel.

The Anderson family and the Fickling Family have spent over 50 years as friends in Florence, SC. Although we children have grown up,we owe who we are to loving parents. Sandy's special and faithful way of touching others was a signature of her parents-Elsie and Bob. She personalized her relationship with the Lord to share with so many of us. WHAT A BLESSING to include Sandy Anderson Jackson in our best memories. Craig, Mag, Drew, Elsie, Bob--Know that she is free of suffering and full of praise. Love and prayers for each of you from Frankie and Ken.
