She was an inspiration to us all. being with Sherry, or just talking to her would always put a smile on my face. I will truly miss her. Her personality, her smile, her determination and her sense of humor are just a few of the things I will miss. There will be a void, and it will be difficult at times. We just have to be thankful we had her as long as we did. I am happy to have had her in my life.
I love you Sherry. I will see you again someday.

Our love ones leaves us a life of memories to cherish. We can feel that death can leave a heartache that nothing can heal. But we must remember that love can leave a memory that no one can steal. May the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 bring comfort to the family at this most difficult time.

Sherry was one of the strongest women I think I have ever met. She was and is such an inspiration to me. When Im facing something that I "think" is so hard, I always think of her and what she was going through, and how she didnt grumble or complain but instead held on to her faith. My prayers are with the family, her husband, and her precious little daughter. I know we will see her again one day and I know if we could talk to her right now she would say "I love you guys, but Im at home now and I dont want to come back down there to that awful place but I cant wait to see you when you get here. I will be waiting for our great reunion where we will never have to be seperated again." I love you all and I know that her passing is a great loss but we do have that comfort of knowing that we will see her again except Glory be to God that the next time we see her, she will not be sick anymore.

My memories of Sherry go back about 20 years ago when we first worked together at First Union. We both left there and went to Lowes at about the same time. We formed a friendship that I have never found before. Sherry was always so unselfish and cared so much about other people. It is a trait you dont see too often. She was a true friend, one I could tell my hopes, dreams and heartbreaks to and I knew she would listen and give me the best advice she could. I have lost a piece of myself with her passing. My heart goes out to her family. Jamie, Brooke and Jill who I know will miss her very much. I will be thinking and praying for you all in these difficult days ahead.
